What are the responsibilities and job description for the Construction Survey Field Technician position at Whaley Construction?
Whaley Construction, LLC is looking for a field survey technician for full-time employment. We prefer someone with experience in Trimble Business, Trimble Access, and CAD files, but will train the right candidate who is efficient, motivated, and a team player.
Position Requirements:
- Valid driver’s license and good driving record.
- Minimum of one year in field engineering/lay-out.
- Proficiency with field survey instruments, laptop computers, and survey related software.
-It is critical that the candidate has working knowledge of plans and specifications for heavy civil construction.
- Ability to calculate staking points.
- Good communication skills and ability to work in a team environment.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a survey crew.
-Must communicate with superintendents on site instruction and progress.
- Trimble Business Center and Trimble Access a plus
