What are the responsibilities and job description for the Temporary Extra Help-Engineering Services (Traffic) position at Whatcom County?
Working Conditions: Work is performed in field locations throughout Whatcom County and in an office setting at a computer workstation. Drives a motor vehicle. Works outdoors in all types of weather, traverses rough terrain and inclines. Uses appropriate safety equipment and follows established safety policies, practices and procedures with particular attention to roadway dangers. Requires the ability to pound nails into roadways for traffic counts and lift up to 50 pounds.
Length of Position:
The position will work from May through September 2025 approximately 40 hours per week. Start and end date may vary dependent on candidate availability. Students are encouraged to apply.

Must have a driving record that meets County standards and possess a valid driver's license at time of hire and throughout employment. |
