Key Responsibilities of a Fleet Shop Manager:
- Supervise and manage all Shop Operations:
- Oversee daily shop activities and ensure smooth operations.
- Schedule and assign tasks to technicians and staff.
- Staff Supervisor
- Recruit, train, and supervise shop personnel.
- Excellent Customer Service
- Handle customer inquiries and complaints professionally.
- Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through quality service.
- Inventory and Supplies:
- Manage inventory of parts and tools.
- Order supplies and equipment as needed.
- Safety and Compliance:
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and standards.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Budget and Financial Management:
- Monitor shop expenses and manage the budget.

Qualifications of a Fleet Shop Manager:
EXPERIENCE WITH FLEETIO IS A PLUS!
- Experience: Previous experience in a transportation or automotive repair shop, with supervisory experience preferred.
- Skills: Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent; relevant certifications or training in automotive repair is a plus.
- Knowledge: Understanding of vehicle maintenance, repair procedures, and shop management.
