What are the responsibilities and job description for the Breakfast Cook position at WheatFields Bakery Cafe?
Breakfast shifts are 5am to 1pm, Saturday and Sunday. Wheatfields is looking for a breakfast cook who can work well independently and quickly on early morning shifts. Breakfast cooks must make biscuits and gravy from scratch every morning, complete necessary prep, and make breakfast orders as tickets come in.
Duties
- Prepare and cook menu items in compliance with established recipes and standards
- Assist in menu planning and development
- Ensure food safety and sanitation standards are met in the kitchen
- Collaborate with the kitchen team to provide excellent dining experiences
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment
Skills
- Experience as a cook or in a similar role
- Knowledge of food safety practices
- Familiarity with a multitude of ways to cook eggs
- Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $18.00 per hour
