We are well-established, PCMH Certified pediatric practice in Wheaton and Batavia, IL. We are seeking a qualified, compassionate individual who is a team player and enjoys working with children and their families to fill a Medical Assistant position.

Schedule:
- 24 Hours per week
- Rotating Saturdays - Divided among the clinical team.
- Ability to work opening and closing shifts.

- Wheaton Pediatrics - 1725 S Naperville Rd, Suite 100, Wheaton, IL 60189
- Wheaton Pediatrics - Batavia - 725 West Fabyan Parkway, Suite B, Batavia, IL 60510
Responsibilities:
- Performs vitals, rooms patients and gathers specimens.
- Documents necessary information in the EMR.
- Collects specimens, performs in-office lab testing and prepares specimens for outside labs.
- Assists with in-office patient procedures per protocol and training.
- Administering immunizations
- Contributes to the daily upkeep of office space and equipment.
- Demonstrates and supports PediaTrust Core Values.
- Performs cleaning and disinfection of instruments and equipment based on practice protocol.
- Performs digital health workflows and initiatives.
- Performs other duties as assigned.

Required Education, Knowledge, Skills, Experience & Abilities:
- Minimum High School Diploma or general equivalency diploma (GED)
- Excellent organization and communication skills
- Strong knowledge and level of comfort with EPIC or other EMR system
- Experience in a clinical environment
- Computer literacy
- CPR certification
