WHEDA is seeking 2 Systems Analyst Interns to join our IT Team in our Madison facility.
SALARY: Hiring Range for this position is $18.00/hr. Offered Salary will be based on qualifications and internal pay equity. WHEDA provides a competitive salary and WHEDA employees participate in the State of Wisconsin benefit package which includes retirement, health insurance and deferred compensation programs.
POSITION OVERVIEW:
The position of Systems Analyst Intern is responsible for ensuring that their business unit customers have the necessary and functioning systems and tools to operate efficiently and effectively.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
- Participates on a project team to complete all deliverables as assigned by the Project Manager. Partners with the Business Analyst to drive project execution. Understands the project goal and requirements, identifies options, analyzes solution designs, facilitates a decision with the project sponsors, coordinates implementation, leads testing, and completes technical documentation as needed.
- Provides ongoing production support, including troubleshooting business system issues to resolution, working with the user and system vendor or application developer; supporting system configurations and workflows; creating and updating reports; and administering internal and external user access to systems.
- Partners with business unit teams, other Systems Analysts, and the ADS Team Manager to ensure they have the appropriate tools to operate efficiently and effectively. Identifies opportunities for improvements including system changes, system upgrades, and process improvements to maximize business value.
- Performs or assists with other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- 2 years of education towards a bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field; OR an equivalent combination of education and experience
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:
- Strong adherence to confidentiality in working with clients and vendors.
Remote Work Options:
This position is eligible for hybrid work that includes 30% in-office work
