Job Description:
Wheeler Staffing Partners is hiring a Logistics Coordinator for a 100% onsite contract opportunity in Lewisville, TX. This is an ASAP need, with a start date no later than February 10th to allow training with the outgoing employee. The role requires strong attention to detail and logistics or supply chain coordination experience is preferred.
Key Details:
- Location: Lewisville, TX 75056
- Schedule: Monday - Friday, 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM
- Duration: 2-3 months (temporary contract)
- Pay: $19 - $22/hour (firm on rate)
- Interview Process: Virtual preferred, in-person available
- Clerical Role: This position does not involve warehouse work.
Key Responsibilities:
- Update shipment and tracking details for inbound containers.
- Maintain accurate data in the system to ensure:
- Correct communication with customers.
- Proper warehouse preparation for incoming shipments.
- Efficient customs clearance to avoid delays.
- Review and process documentation from factories/agents for container shipments.
- Verify costs, quantities, and duty amounts for accuracy.
- Ensure HTS codes on paperwork match system records.
- Enter shipment details into NAV, moving items from open PO to OTW (on the water).
- Liaise with brokers to resolve customs clearance questions.
Ideal Candidate Qualifications:
- Experience in logistics, purchasing, or supply chain coordination preferred.
- High attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.
- Familiarity with NAV, PLM, and Excel is a plus (NAV experience not required).
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook required).
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently in a clerical setting.
