MINIMUM REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
EDUCATION, CERTIFICATION, AND/OR LICENSURE:
1. Graduate of an accredited LPN program
2. Current unencumbered licensure with the WV Board of Practical Nursing, or appropriate state board where services will be provided, as a practical nurse OR current multi-state licensure through the enhanced Nurse Licensure Compact (eNLC).
3. Obtain certification in Basic Life Support within 30 days of hire date.
EXPERIENCE:
1. Minimum of 3 years of healthcare experience.

1. Two (2) years of supervisory experience preferred.

1. Supervises and coordinates activities related to patient care activities within the ambulatory office.
2. Provides daily supervision to staff to ensure prompt and courteous service to patients, visitors, physicians and co-workers.
3. Monitors daily operations to help ensure adherence to documented administrative and departmental policies and procedures.
4. Provides coaching and counseling to staff based upon performance management principals.
5. Identifies on-going continuing education needs of employees.
6. Keeps staff informed of processes, policies and other changes thorough continuous communication.
7. Gathers statistics, completes reports and performs other duties as scheduled or requested.
8. Communicates status of daily operations to Manager or Director as well as communicate problems hindering workflow to Manager or Director in a timely manner.
9. Handles patient/family or staff complaints, investigates complaint and makes recommendations on appropriate resolution.
10. Efficiently and assertively coordinates resolution of problems with other departments as monitored by Manager or Director.
11. Organizes and executes daily tasks in appropriate priority to achieve optimal productivity, accountability and efficiency.
12. Maintains functional knowledge of operational areas and is able to step into staffing as needed.
13. Ensures that patient satisfaction is being met and reported to Manager or Director any issues.
14. Assists with annual budget process.
15. Selects, hires, manages and evaluates the effectiveness of employees on a continuous basis.
16. Provides direct nursing care to patients in an outpatient medical office setting.
17. Consults with the Provider or Registered Nurse to seek guidance in delivery of nursing care, as necessary.
18. Works closely with office assistant and physician to facilitate patient's clinic visit. Ensure patient's chart is available. Escort patients to and from exam room. Assist with scheduling when necessary.
