Wheels Up is looking for a world-class Flight Coordinator at our Member Operations Center (MOC) in Chamblee, GA and join our team of dedicated and passionate professionals, fueled by the most powerful brand in private aviation, as we continue our mission of democratizing the private aviation space through cutting-edge technology and innovative product and service offerings.
Responsibilities
- Maintain a culture of total customer service focused on anticipating our Clients’ needs and exceeding their expectations
- Develop a working relationship with all pilots and assist Crew Logistics Coordinators with scheduling, assignments, and trip logistic needs for the pilot team
- Notify and brief all crewmembers associated with scheduled trips as well as maintain communications with crew
- Communicate any operational issues, as appropriate, to the appropriate departments and if needed to our clients
- Document and maintain compliance with contractual obligations to all clients
- Proactively resolve Client issues and disputes; referring to and including the Aircraft Scheduling Team for Client Relations assistance when appropriate
- Assist in Owner Services coverage when needed, working directly with aircraft owners/executive assistants to maintain top notch customer service
- Arrange special customer requests, including but not limited to ground transportation and catering
- Analyze aircraft fleet utilization to best serve our Client needs and maximize overall safety and profitability
- Monitor and maintain schedule legality for crew duty/rest/flight times
- Monitor weather and airport conditions on a daily basis to ensure daily operations can be accomplished safely and without unexpected interruption
- Actively Flight Follow; monitoring all aircraft movements both in the air and on the ground. Coordinate aircraft towing and fueling when and where necessary
- Effectively communicate with Maintenance and crew regarding scheduled and unscheduled maintenance events
- Utilize Avianis to its maximum ability with incorporating scheduling updates to profiles, airport/aircraft information, maintenance warnings and aircraft times and invoicing
- Strive to meet daily, monthly, and annual revenue and operations goals
- Receive and provide accurate quotes for charter requests by clients and/or other operators or brokers as needed to assist the aircraft scheduling team
- Maintain and continually improve Clients and Vendor contact information in Avianis software
- Learn to utilize computer systems and programs to perform job duties to include but not limited to: Avianis, Slack, Flight Explorer, Flight Aware, Fuelerlinx, Flight Bridge and Excel
- Prepare reports & other paperwork as required for the overnight and/or weekend shift
- Other job-related duties as assigned by Flight Control Manager
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
- Previous aviation industry specific work experience
- Experience with and an understanding of corporate aircraft operations and FAA regulations CFR 14 FAR 91 and 135
Preferred Qualifications:
- College Degree (Aviation degree preferred)
- FAA Dispatch Certificate or Pilot Certificate
- At least 2 years working in a customer service role
- Experience working with Slack and/or Avianis software
Work Conditions and Physical Requirements:
- Work is performed in an office setting with prolonged periods of sedentary activity
- Required flexible work schedule to accommodate various changing shifts, PTO and on-call adjustments (Includes: weekdays, evenings, weekends, and holidays)
- The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25-50 pounds

Salary Range
The wage range for this position is determined on a variety of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions, such as differences in skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. This wage range has not been adjusted for any applicable geographic differential associated with where the position may be filled. At Wheels Up, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role. Your placement within the wage range is primarily based on your qualifications and experience.
You may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors, including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance.
