What are the responsibilities and job description for the Law Clerk position at WHGC, P.L.C.?
Under the direct supervision of the Attorney, the job description includes but not limited to the following:
1. Prepare memoranda and briefs with accurate information on specific cases, prepare for trial by preparing trial briefs, exhibits, subpoenas, evidence, and motions.
2. Prepare legal drafts by assembling and organizing information for legal forms and documents, including drafting complaints, answers, declarations, discovery requests, discovery
responses, motions, legal correspondence, and any other legal documentation.
3. Attend court sessions, depositions, client meetings, negotiations, mediations, and arbitrations, as required, in order to listen to and record critical information, takes witness statements
and assist with attorneys or clients.
4. Conduct thorough research work by studying and analyzing laws, statutes, constitutions, regulations, court opinions, including precedents and reasoning, and trends using standard print
texts and computers.
5. Analyzes legal documents and briefs, ensuring accurate statements and depiction of facts, case law, and precedent provided. Reports any inconsistencies or suggested revisions to the
attorney.
6. Executing any other legal and technical tasks to support the legal team as per the instructions given by the attorneys.
