Key Responsibilities:
- Apply and remove dressings, casts, and splints
- Assist physicians with back-office duties, including rooming patients and taking vital signs
- Adhere to prescription refill protocols
- Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information
- Perform basic triage and recognize urgent/emergent situations
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Completion of a Medical Assistant program
- 1 year of experience in an orthopedic setting (preferred)
- Washington State Medical Assistant Certification
- National Association of Orthopedic Technicians Certification
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
