Job Overview
Camp Lucy is seeking an enthusiastic and energetic Activities Specialist to lead and facilitate outdoor and recreational activities for guests of all ages. This role is ideal for someone who loves the outdoors, enjoys working with people, and has a passion for hospitality and entertainment.
Responsibilities
- Plan, coordinate, and lead a variety of activities, including but not limited to:
- Archery
- Fishing
- Hiking
- Chicken Chat
- Wine & whiskey tastings
- Axe throwing
- Team-building events
- Seasonal and special event programming
- Provide excellent guest service by ensuring activities are safe, fun, and engaging.
- Set up, break down, and maintain activity equipment and areas.
- Educate guests on safety guidelines and ensure proper use of equipment.
- Assist in developing new and creative activity offerings.
- Work closely with other departments to ensure seamless guest experiences.
- Maintain a friendly, welcoming, and professional demeanor at all times.
Qualifications
- Prior experience in recreation, outdoor education, hospitality, or a related field preferred.
- CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in various weather conditions and lift up to 50 lbs.
- Outgoing personality with a passion for guest engagement.
- Flexible schedule, including weekends, evenings, and holidays as needed.
