We are looking for a results-oriented Sales Engineer to work directly with your assigned cross-functional Business Unit Team on developing and executing strategies for continued new business growth and expansion of legacy business. Enjoy occasional travel and excellent growth opportunities with this role.

In this role, you would typically :

• Lead the sales effort to pursue and win new business consistent with the company value drivers, including aftermarket opportunities.
• Engage with customers early in the procurement cycle to assist with specification development to minimize competitive risk and increase chance of success.
• Explain complex technical details of Whippany products and services in a way that is understandable to customers.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure customers' requirements are met.
• Primary customer interface throughout the new business cycle, responsible for building and fostering strong customer relationships and partnerships
• Take the lead role throughout the new business cycle
