IT Program Manager
We are seeking an experienced IT Program Manager to oversee the management of overall contract and contractor staff.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provides oversight of all aspects of field and/or task-level project performance, including technical, contractual, administrative, and financial.
- Supports multiple projects simultaneously.
- Supervises personnel involved in all aspects of project activity, organizes and assigns responsibilities to subordinates, oversees the successful completion of all assigned tasks, and maintains customer contacts to ensure conformity to all contractual obligations.
- Interfaces with all areas affected by the project, including end users, computer services, and client services.
- Ensures adherence to quality standards and reviews project deliverables.
- Manages the integration of vendor tasks and tracks and reviews vendor deliverables.
- Exercises independent judgment and a high-level of analytical skill in solving non-routine technical, administrative, and managerial problems.
Requirements:
- Minimum BS/BA degree in a related field (or equivalent years of experience)
- PMI Project Manager Professional (PMP) certification required
- Work with Leadership and Federal Staff to validate and determine IT plans.
- Work with contractor employees to establish lifecycle replacement plans for hardware, software, and networking equipment.
- Work with contractor employees to track projects, task completion, and deliverables via weekly, biweekly, and monthly reporting.
- Ensure that employees are adhering to all federal and agency policy and procedures.
- Ensure that employees are maintaining necessary training to support Census Systems and emerging technologies.
