Summary:
The Consumer Insights Analyst will serve as a key business partner between the Product & Engineering Teams, ensuring that our customers' needs and experiences are at the forefront of our product development process. This role is pivotal in driving our new internal initiative, which is focused on testing with customers and their fur family members. We will collaborate with cross-functional teams to support research projects from conception to execution.
What You'l Do:

- Leads the development, support, and execution of the new internal initiative/product focused on testing with customers and their fur family members.
- Designs, develops, and owns pet behavior testing to enhance new product development.
- Designs and implements internal and external user testing protocols to gather actionable insights.
- Coordinates testing schedules, feedback collection, analysis, and presentation.
- Structures surveys, analyzes data, and reports insights to stakeholders.
- Develops and leads research projects to support new product developments, user experiences, pet behavior, and product activities.
- Identifies and champions key customer needs and business opportunities to ensure a user-centric approach.
- Communicates how user experience initiatives impact broader business goals.
- Becomes a trusted partner for the Product & Engineering Teams, acting as the main point of contact for all user experience-related development.
- Collaborates closely with Customer Experience, Marketing, and Digital teams to integrate user insights into their strategies.
- Facilitates communication and understanding between different teams to promote a unified approach to user experience.
- Will perform additional responsibilities when required.
What You'll Bring:
- BA in a related field or equivalent professional experience
- 3-5 years of experience in user research, UX analysis, academic research, or a similar role.
- Proven track record of delivering high-quality customer and product research that drives results demonstrated through case studies
- Proficient in Windows and Google tools
- Excellent ability to communicate and present complex user needs clearly to diverse stakeholders
- Strong storytelling skills to convey user insights effectively
- Demonstrated ability to evaluate the customer and business impact of research decisions
- Maintains confidentiality of proprietary information
- Ability to maintain a professional atmosphere in a fast-paced environment with numerous interactions and interruptions
- A high degree of initiative, self-motivation, and ability to motivate others
- Ability to establish and maintain cooperative working relationships with Team Members and colleagues
- Comfortable with office pets (cats, dogs)
Not Required but Nice To Have!
- Experience with user experience tools such as SurveyMonkey, Domo, R Commander, and iMovies is a plus
- Certifications in UX design or Human Center Design
- Experience in the pet industry or a genuine passion for pets
