We are seeking a skilled Brewer to join our team. The Brewer will be responsible for producing high-quality craft beer while ensuring adherence to food safety standards and maintaining equipment.
Responsibilities:
- Operate brewing equipment to produce craft beer following established recipes
- Sanitize equipment and maintain a clean brewing area
- Package finished products for distribution
- Fabricate new recipes and experiment with different ingredients to create unique flavors
- Adhere to HACCP, CGMP, and other food safety regulations
- Utilize mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot and maintain brewing equipment
- Forklift operation for moving materials within the brewery
Skills:
- Proficiency in food safety practices within the food industry
- Mechanical knowledge for equipment operation and maintenance
- Ability to sanitize brewing equipment effectively
- Experience in packaging and labeling products
- Knowledge of craft beer production processes
- Ability to fabricate new beer recipes and innovate in brewing techniques
- Familiarity with HACCP guidelines for food safety
