The Account Executive is responsible for exceeding sales goals and growing the customer base within the assigned territory. This role requires knowledge of wholesale retail within the Men's Specialty channel, existing relationships in the industry, a self-starter drive for growth, and an enthusiastic focus on customer service, detail, and teamwork.

About the Role :

  • Meet or exceed sales goals for the territory by selling to existing and new customers with a consultative approach.
  • Work with the Senior Account Manager and Head of Brand to develop and execute a sales plan for the assigned territory seasonally.
  • Identify and land new account opportunities to meet growth targets.
  • Meet with customers in-person at their offices and at seasonal trade shows to present the line, discuss reorders, trends, etc.
  • Manage, develop and maintain relationships with customers to ensure ongoing business.
  • Support accounts with the sell-through of products at retail, including but not limited to traveling the territory for merchandising assistance, customer engagement, and in-store events.
  • Know the line, product features, sizing, etc. to discuss with customers and potential customers.
  • Diligently follow up on customer orders and reorders.
  • Be the advocate for your territory by keeping the company informed of any significant developments in the field, at retail, and with customers to ensure we continue to execute sales plan.
  • Provide customer support including, but not limited to :

Providing samples, catalogs, and timely information of company developments to customers.

  • Handling and resolving customer inquiries / concerns.
  • Addressing product-related questions with appropriate internal departments / teams.
  • Keep current on fashion trends to ensure the customer is presented with the best advice and sales strategies.
  • Submit sales recaps, expense reports, and follow-ups on company initiatives in a timely manner.
  • Utilize Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Teams, Excel, Sharepoint) and B2B platforms (NuOrder) skillfully in interactions with customers and company team members.

  • Who we would like to meet :

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business or Marketing or related field and equivalent experience.
  • 4 years relevant wholesale apparel experience.
  • Up to 50% travel required.
