Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Weekend Supervisor to join our team. The Weekend Supervisor will oversee daily operations in a Level II Trauma Center and provide high-quality patient care. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in nursing and possess the skills necessary to effectively manage a nursing home. This role requires a passion for patient care and a commitment to providing a safe and supportive environment for patients with developmental disabilities.
Duties:
- Manage and coordinate patient care activities within the nursing home, ensuring that all patients receive the highest level of care.
- Assist with specimen collection and processing, as well as perform other lab-related tasks as needed.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans, including health coaching and patient education.
- Provide exceptional care to patients, including infant care and IV insertion, and ensure that all patients receive timely and appropriate treatment.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of patient care and medical procedures.
- Monitor and respond to emergency situations, such as cardiac catheterization and trauma cases.
- Oversee the daily operations of the nursing home, including supervising staff and coordinating logistics.
- Ensure that the nursing home is in compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.
- Foster a positive and supportive work environment, encouraging teamwork and collaboration among staff members.
Requirements:
- Current licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the state of [insert state].
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a nursing home or Level II Trauma Center setting.
- Experience with Cerner electronic medical records system.
- Strong understanding of patient care principles and practices.
- Ability to lift and move patients as needed.

Pay: $32.00 - $36.00 per hour
