We are seeking a creative and passionate Florist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in floral design and a keen eye for detail, ensuring that every arrangement meets our high standards of quality and aesthetics. As a Florist, you will be responsible for creating beautiful floral arrangements for various occasions, providing exceptional customer service, and maintaining the overall appearance of the shop.

Responsibilities

• Design and create floral arrangements for various events, including weddings, funerals, and special occasions.
• Assist customers in selecting flowers and arrangements that meet their needs and preferences.
• Maintain inventory of flowers, plants, and supplies; ensure stock is fresh and well-organized.
• Handle cash transactions accurately using the cash register; process payments efficiently.
• Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving any issues promptly.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure a clean and inviting shop environment.
• Stay informed about current trends in floral design and sales techniques to enhance customer experience.

Skills

• Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage effectively with diverse clientele.
• Knowledge of lawn care, gardening, and landscape maintenance is a plus.
• Multilingual abilities are highly valued to cater to a broader customer base.
• Sales experience to promote products effectively and drive store revenue.
• Proficiency in cash handling and operating a cash register accurately.
• Familiarity with retail math to assist in inventory management and pricing strategies.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $21.00 - $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 15 – 20 per week
