Florist and Plant Specialist

Job Overview
Terrapin Rose is a state of mind more than just a shop. There is a metaphysical component to selling florals, plants and crystals. We also offer Tarot Card readings with experienced readers. The ideal candidate will have Floral design experience and customer service skills. Plant and Crystal knowledge is a plus - willing to train.

Responsibilities

• Design and create floral arrangements for various events such as weddings, funerals, and corporate functions.
• Drop and process all incoming flowers for retail
• Management cleanliness of shop
• Organize and restock merchandise
• Create window displays
• Water and maintain all plants
• Engage with customers and help with floral, crystal or planting needs

Experience

• Previous experience in retail sales or customer service is preferred.
• Knowledge of cash register operations and basic accounting practices.
• Familiarity with indoor plants
• Strong organizational skills to manage inventory effectively.
• Ability to communicate fluently in English; multilingual candidates are encouraged to apply.
• A background in gardening or horticulture can be beneficial.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $18.00 - $25.00 per hour
