Job Overview
Arkham is seeking a Senior Counsel, Data Privacy & Information Security to provide expert legal guidance on data privacy and cybersecurity matters. In this role, you will develop and implement privacy and data security policies, advise on domestic and global privacy laws, and support incident response strategies.
This role can be based in New York or Punta Cana, Dominican Republic, for candidates open to working in the Caribbean.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement privacy and data security policies and procedures.
- Draft and update privacy notices for various products and business lines.
- Provide guidance on domestic and global privacy laws and cybersecurity regulations.
- Monitor and assess global regulatory developments to ensure compliance with U.S. and international data privacy standards.
- Develop and support incident response, including regulatory notifications and stakeholder communications.
- Review vendor and third-party contracts to ensure strong data protection terms.
- Advise on compliance strategies to align with business priorities.
- Provide expertise on privacy-by-design, privacy impact assessments, and data protection reviews.
- Draft and review privacy-related agreements, including data protection agreements and terms of service.
- Handle other related legal matters as needed.

Salary : $180,000 - $220,000
