Whitbeck Bennett, PLLC, a national family law firm with (8) offices located in (3) states and comprised of over twenty-five attorneys with a focus on domestic law including: divorce, child custody, spousal support, education law, and mental health law.
The firm has an immediate opening for a Legal Administrative Assistant in our Richmond location.
Responsibilities:
- Sending template emails
- Conduct initial in-take process and gather detailed information attorneys
- Perform administrative duties (calendar hearings and deadlines, organize case files, work with clients and some operational duties)
- Maintain pleadings and discovery indexes
- Assist partner and associate with document preparation
- Manage office supplies
- Other administrative tasks as needed
Qualifications:
- 2 years administrative experience
- Excellent computer skills, including Microsoft 365 (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel)
- Highly organized with the ability to juggle multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Advanced skillset in time management and task prioritization
- Detail oriented
- Team player
