Our Company is growing fast and we are currently seeking experienced and professional Pipeline Construction Inspectors to join our team!
Position Summary
- Provide inspection, oversight, and reporting on the construction of natural gas pipelines and facilities. Verify work is complete in accordance with company standards, specifications, applicable codes, federal regulations, and state requirements. QA/QC over construction processes, progress reporting, As-Built documentation. Duties include field inspection of installation methods, inspection of materials, project documentation review, enforcement and compliance with company standards and industry related codes, safety oversight and inspection, daily reporting, and project documentation.
Experience:
- 3 years of Pipeline Inspection experience, or 3 years Pipeline Construction
Skills, Qualifications & Key Responsibilities:
- Working knowledge of construction related to steel pipe and poly pipe installation, repair, and maintenance. Emphasis on distribution systems.
- Observation and reporting for compliance with: ROW preparations, materials, material handling, welding, fusing, Operator Qualifications, trenching & boring, pressure testing, coating applications, backfill and compaction, housekeeping, restoration, project documentation.
- Must be Safety oriented - Safety is #1 Priority
- Familiarity with codes API 1104 and ASME B31.8
- Familiar with DOT CFR 49 .192 and .195
Requirements for employment:
- Valid Driver’s License with clean driving record
- Background check
- Pre-employment drug testing and quarterly drug testing
- Fit for duty physical examination demonstrating ability to complete work duties

Job Type: Full-time seasonal construction scheduled April 2023 through Dec 2023
Work Schedule: 5-7 days/week, 40-65 hours/week
Hourly Wage:
- Based on previous experience, qualifications, and training
- Mileage reimbursement
- Per diem (if applicable based on job location)
Experience:
- Pipeline Inspection: 3 years (Required)
- Pipeline construction related field experience 3 years (Required)
Certifications:
- American Welding Society CWI or National Welding Inspection School CPWI V(Required)
- OSHA 10hr or 30 Hr (Preferred)
- NACE CIP Level 1 (Preferred)
- API 1169 (Preferred)
- Familiar with Operator Qualifications
- Familiar with LocusView GIS equipment (Preferred)
Education:
- High School Diploma (Required)
- Must be capable of computer work related to reporting, emails, communication, and correspondence
- Microsoft Office Applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams)
