Duties and Accountabilities
- Lead and manage the overall early careers legal recruitment strategy for the Washington, D.C. office
- Think creatively, commercially and competitively to meet our objectives of hiring top talent and recruiting for long-term strategic fit
- Serve as the Firm's relationship manager with key contacts at specific law schools (i.e., career services, placement offices, deans, faculties, student organizations) by organizing, tracking and planning outreach activities and sponsorships. Continually source and develop these relationships to ensure meaningful engagement and dialogue that is differentiated from our competitors
- Work with key stakeholders to ensure broad attorney engagement and attendance at all events
- Work with Partners and Career Services to identify strong candidates on campus and ultimately cultivate these target recruits throughout the process
- Lead the planning and execution of the on-campus interview season; track and manage candidates from application/resume screening stage through callback interviews; manage and track all interview feedback; facilitate meetings where offer decisions are made; follow up with candidates regarding final status
- Monitor and drive the sell process for all candidates once an offer has been extended
- Responsible for the planning, implementation, and execution of the summer associate program, including, but not limited to, organizing and participating in various internal and external events and trainings; maintaining a summer budget; overseeing the summer associate review process and mentoring program; acting as a resource to summer associates to ensure integration and smooth transition from law school to law firm
- Keep abreast of trends in recruitment, market intelligence, and competitor benchmarking
- Build relationships with key contacts within the business and HR functions and partner with them on regional strategy/ business plans
- Collaborate with the D&I team to create and implement a strong and focused diversity recruitment strategy
- Manage all reporting, metrics, and data management, and be able to present data and trend analysis to key stakeholders and use data to make and support strategic proposals, and modify regional and global core objectives as needed
- Ensure a consistent, on-brand message is conveyed to candidates along with diligence in presenting the Firm's EVP
- Develop and manage the DC Early Careers Recruitment Assistant
Qualifications
- Minimum of five (5) years of relevant professional recruitment experience in a law firm or other professional services' organization
- Ability to quickly develop relationships with internal and external clients, such as the broader Recruitment team, People team and colleagues in other Functions to drive measurable results against strategy
- Excellent oral and written communication with outstanding presentation skills, and strong competency in Excel and PowerPoint
- Client focused and credible
- Ability to manage diverse stakeholders and build networks quickly
- Strong project management skills: ability to manage competing priorities to achieve optimal results
- Results-orientated: ability to handle multiple, time-sensitive projects while focusing on the quality of work delivered to clients

Location and Reporting
- This is a hybrid role based in our Washington, D.C. office
- This role reports to the Senior Manager, Early Careers Legal Recruitment - Americas.
