White Flower Farm in Torrington, Connecticut is seeking Seasonal Warehouse Assistants for the Spring season. The Seasonal Warehouse Assistant works in multiple distribution areas (picking, packing, wrapping, stocking and/or Hardgoods) using the Warehouse Management System (WMS) to achieve departmental goals in a safe, accurate and timely manner. The Seasonal Warehouse Assistant aims to sustain order fulfillment with the care and high standard White Flower Farm customers expect. The Seasonal Warehouse Assistant will work through May, Monday to Friday from 7:00am to 3:30pm with weekend work at the peak of the season. The Seasonal Warehouse Assistant is eligible for callbacks during future Fall and Holiday seasons.
Essential Responsibilities:
- Picking: Pick (locate and gather) product accurately with quality in mind. Fulfill daily job requirements as specified by leadership.
- Packing: Review product for quality. Package product carefully, using the appropriate packaging materials. Ensure all packages are neatly taped and are in good condition before finalizing packaging process.
- Material Handling: Undergo required equipment training. Use equipment per training guidelines to safely transport products within all areas and departments as needed. Maintain organization of all departmental materials.
- Stocking: Stock product daily per schedule. Restock products as needed to keep pick bins full for processing orders.
- Other Duties: Support other distribution areas as needed. Maintain a clean workstation.
