We are seeking a proactive and experienced Crew Leader to join our packing and cleaning company. The Crew Leader will be responsible for overseeing and managing the day-to-day operations of packing and cleaning jobs, leading a team, and ensuring all tasks are completed efficiently and to the highest standard. This role involves both leadership responsibilities and hands-on packing alongside the team to ensure smooth operations and client satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Team Leadership: Supervise and coordinate a team of packers and cleaners at job sites, ensuring tasks are completed efficiently, safely, and according to customer specifications.
- Job Site Management: Be the main point of contact for clients and oversee all activities during the job. Ensure jobs are completed on time, within budget, and to customer satisfaction.
- Packing & Cleaning: Lead by example by actively participating in the packing, organizing, and cleaning of customer belongings, ensuring items are packed safely, securely, and efficiently.
- Problem Solving: Troubleshoot any issues that arise during the packing and cleaning process, addressing concerns and finding solutions to ensure job success.
- Quality Control: Ensure that all packing and cleaning tasks meet company standards, including proper handling of items, cleanliness, and organization of belongings.
- Inventory & Supplies: Oversee the use of packing materials and cleaning supplies, ensuring the team has what they need and that everything is used efficiently.
- Customer Communication: Maintain a professional relationship with customers, addressing any concerns, answering questions, and ensuring complete satisfaction throughout the job.
- Documentation & Reporting: Complete necessary paperwork, including inventory lists, packing checklists, and customer feedback forms. Report job progress and any issues to higher management.
Requirements:
- Leadership Experience: Previous experience in a leadership or supervisory role, preferably in a packing, moving, or cleaning environment.
- Hands-On Skills: Must be comfortable with both leadership and active participation in physical tasks, including packing, organizing, and cleaning.
- Strong Communication: Excellent communication skills to lead a team, interact with clients, and provide clear instructions.
- Organizational Skills: Ability to manage multiple tasks and people simultaneously while maintaining high attention to detail.
- Problem-Solving Ability: Quick thinking to resolve challenges on the job site while ensuring client satisfaction.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to lift up to 40 lbs, stand and move for extended periods, and perform physical tasks as part of the team.
- Dependability & Reliability: Punctual and dependable, with a strong work ethic and the ability to motivate others.
- Valid Driver’s License (if applicable): Ability to travel to job sites.
- Experience: 1-2 years of experience in packing, moving, or cleaning industries is preferred, but not required.
