We have an immediate opening for a temporary individual replacing an employee on leave for 3.5 months. We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Accounts Payable Clerk to join our accounting department. Responsibilities
- Process and verify invoices for payment, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies.
- Maintain accounts payable records, including data entry into accounting software.
- Collaborate with vendors to resolve discrepancies and inquiries regarding payments.
- Prepare and maintain reports related to accounts payable activities.
- Reconciliation of accounts to ensure all items posted properly and timely.
Requirements
- Proven experience in accounts payable or a related financial role.
- Strong data entry skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Knowledge of public accounting practices.
- Proficiency in using accounting software
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
