Assistant Bar Manager

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Assistant Bar Manager to help lead our team of bartenders and ensure an exceptional guest experience. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background as a bartender with a focus on customer service. As the Assistant Bar Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing daily operations, inventory management, and fostering a positive work environment.

Duties

• Manage all aspects of bar operations, including inventory management, ordering supplies, and maintaining equipment.
• Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain cleanliness standards throughout the bar area.
• Provide outstanding customer service by engaging with guests, addressing their needs, and ensuring satisfaction.
• Help coordinate services for special events and private parties as needed.
• Monitor staff performance and provide constructive feedback to promote professional growth.
• Assist in managing budgets and controlling costs to maximize profitability.
• Promote the vision of VFW veterans and their families.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in a supervisory or management role preferably in a bar or restaurant setting.
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to build rapport with guests.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to lead a team effectively.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $11.50 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 8 per week
