We are looking for a part-time medical receptionist to join our administrative team!
If you are a friendly, energetic, organized "people-person" who is interested in growing in a professional medical office career, this may be the job for you! This administrative position supports the front desk and clinical staff in providing patients with a compassionate and friendly experience. Candidate must demonstrate warmth and kindness and have excellent communication skills and attention to detail. This job requires adeptness at multi-tasking and time management as well.
Duties include:
- Greeting patients, answering phones, and responding to messages and emails.
- Scheduling and rescheduling appointments
- Communicating with patients by phone, text, email, and patient portal.
- Processing patient payments
- Accurately reviewing and updating patient information
- Faxing and scanning of referrals and records
- Assuring reception area and waiting room are clean and organized
- Other administrative tasks as assigned
Additional details:
- Must be proficient in computer use, including email, data entry, and accessing password-protected online accounts.
- Preference will be given to candidates with prior medical or dental office experience.
- This is a part-time position with a regular schedule of three days a week during daytime business hours Monday through Friday, with no regularly scheduled nights or weekends.
