Job Summary:
The Staging Lead will oversee and execute the staging process, ensuring every home is presented at its best. This position requires strong design skills, excellent organizational abilities, and the capacity to manage a fast-paced workload. You will be responsible for leading staging and destaging projects, selecting furnishings and décor, and ensuring the final staged look aligns with our high standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design & Planning:
- Select and arrange furnishings and décor to create welcoming, buyer-ready environments.
- Use design principles to maximize the space's appeal, ensuring homes feel larger, brighter, and more inviting.
- Collaborate with the team to plan staging projects and prioritize tasks for timely completion.
- Staging Execution:
- Identify and organize items for movers, ensuring efficient handling.
- Lead staging and destaging projects, directing team members and movers as needed.
- Oversee tasks such as steaming bedding, cleaning surfaces, and arranging décor to achieve a polished look.
- Quality Control & Reporting:
- Inspect homes for any damages during staging/destaging and report issues immediately.
- Ensure all furnishings and décor are cleaned, shined, and placed properly.
- Take high-quality photos of completed stages and organize them in the appropriate Google Drive folder.
- Leadership & Organization:
- Work independently while managing and supporting team members during projects.
- Multi-task before, during, and after stages, including coordinating furniture, addressing repairs, and finalizing details.
- Maintain strong organizational skills to keep projects on track and ensure the warehouse stays tidy and efficient.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in home staging, interior design, or a related field.
- Strong understanding of design principles and an ability to enhance spaces effectively.
- Ability to lift 40 lbs and work in a physically demanding role.
- Reliable transportation, a valid driver’s license, and willingness to travel between job sites and the warehouse.
- Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and leadership abilities.
- Positive, energetic, and team-oriented personality.
