The Rochester/Stockbridge Unified School District (RSUD) serves students PreK - 6 in the communities of Rochester and Stockbridge. We are currently seeking a licensed school counselor with skills to provide student support in social emotional learning in both Rochester Elementary School & Stockbridge Central School for the 2025-2026 school year. The ideal candidate shall possess the following: A current Vermont School Counselor certificationPossess Strong interpersonal skills & work cooperatively in a team to identify needs/resources for students who require either a targeted/intensive social/emotion and/or academic intervention plan Willingness to sustain a positive school climate for relevant & purposeful learningSupporting all students socially/emotionally in order to reach their greatest potentialEffective written and oral communication skills are required Responsibilities include: Leading school counseling social emotional programming & small group counseling/social groupsCo-facilitates the social/emotional universal teamsCo-facilitates the targeted/intensive social/emotional teamsServes as a resource to staff and families in dealing with social/emotional concernsServes as the PBiS coachServes as the HHB and Title IX Investigator Any other assignment as requested by the administration to support the schooland students
