Summary
We are seeking a Maintenance Person to join our team at White Sands Treatment Center. In this role, you will be essential in ensuring our facilities are safe, functional, and welcoming for both staff and clients. Your contributions will directly support our mission of providing exceptional care in a healing environment.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on facility equipment and systems.
- Utilize CMMS to track maintenance activities and manage work orders efficiently.
- Conduct electrical repairs and installations as needed to ensure safety compliance.
- Assist with welding tasks and other mechanical repairs to maintain facility integrity.
- Oversee residential painting projects to enhance the appearance of the treatment center.
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests from staff to ensure a smooth operation.
- Collaborate with management to prioritize maintenance tasks based on urgency and impact.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment while adhering to safety protocols.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in maintenance roles, preferably in healthcare or similar environments.
- Strong electrical skills with the ability to troubleshoot and repair electrical systems.
- Strong general carpentry skills
- Plumbing knowledge is a plus, but not essential
- Familiarity with CMMS software for tracking maintenance activities is highly desirable.
- Mechanical is essential.
- Basic understanding of logic controllers is a plus but not mandatory.
- Ability to perform residential painting tasks effectively as needed.
- Supervisory experience is beneficial but not required for this role.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining a safe environment.
