Asset Management Associate - High-Growth Private Equity Fund

A rapidly expanding private equity fund, which recently closed a significant fundraise, is seeking to add an Asset Management Associate to their team. This role will involve direct interaction with acquisitions, assisting in deal underwriting, and taking ownership of the asset management for several investments.

Job Function

• Develop and maintain detailed financial models using Excel and Argus to evaluate potential investment opportunities.
• Conduct due diligence, including lease reviews, tenant financial analysis, and assessing historical and projected property operating performance.
• Coordinate third-party reports, lender diligence, and underwriting assumptions.
• Update financial models for existing investments, incorporating changes in lease terms, market conditions, and capital expenditures.
• Support asset management strategies, including leasing decisions, refinancing opportunities, and capital projects.
• Participate in the preparation of asset reports, including monthly and quarterly performance updates and variance analyses.
• Assist in the disposition process, including market timing analysis, underwriting, and transaction execution.
  
  
  

Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Real Estate, Economics, or a related field.
• 3-6 years of relevant experience in real estate investment, asset management, or acquisitions.
• Strong proficiency in financial modeling, particularly with Excel and Argus Enterprise.
• Solid understanding of real estate valuation techniques, lease structures, and capital markets.
