A prestigious law firm is looking to hire a Corporate and Commercial Real Estate Paralegal. This role offers an opportunity to work closely with attorneys in a fast-paced, dynamic environment while supporting various real estate transactions and corporate matters. This is a hybrid role requiring 4 days in office.

- Entity Formation & Documentation: Assist attorneys in preparing entity formation and organizational documents.
- Document Drafting & Editing: Create, compose, and edit written materials and transaction documents.
- Due Diligence: Support due diligence efforts for real estate transactions, including the review of title reports, surveys, and other third-party reports.
- Legal Research: Conduct legal research related to real estate matters, including zoning regulations, property records, and relevant case law.
- Client & Counterparty Communication: Draft correspondence and facilitate communication with clients, counterparties’ counsel, and outside vendors under the guidance of supervising attorneys.
- Closing & Lease Compliance: Assist in the preparation of signature pages, closing files for distribution, and closing binders. Monitor lease compliance, including renewals, payments, and amendments.
- 5-10 years' experience working with attorneys in corporate and commercial real estate, with experience in both law firm and/or in-house environments.
- Strong understanding of commercial real estate transaction documents, including purchase, sale, leases, and amendments.
- Proven experience supporting due diligence efforts for real estate transactions, including reviewing title reports, surveys, and other third-party reports.
- Ability to conduct legal research related to real estate matters, such as zoning regulations, property records, and relevant case law.
- Proficient in drafting correspondence and facilitating communication with clients, counterparties’ counsel, and outside vendors under the guidance of supervising attorneys.
- Experience assisting in the preparation of signature pages, closing files for distribution, and closing binders.
- Skilled in monitoring lease compliance, including renewals, payments, and amendments.
- Must be able to commute 4 days per week to a northern NJ office location.
