What are the responsibilities and job description for the Desktop Support Technician position at WhiteCap Search?
Our client is looking to hire a Desktop Support Technician who can report to the office 5 days a week and will function as IT support for the office. The schedule for this position is 8:30am to 5pm, no OT or weekend hours expected. This is a true temp to perm position - Will probably convert around the 90 day mark.

- Internal deskside support
- In-office hardware set up
- Conference room support, and the
- Supporting of up to 230 internal employees.
- They will be answering via walk up support, email, and the SysAid ticketing queue.
- Microsoft Intune is a must. It's how all devices are connected. Also use Autopilot, so knowledge there would be a plus. Teams a plus (anything microsoft).
- 5 years of experience in an IT support or desktop support role
- 5 years of experience with Tier 2 troubleshooting
- Cisco Webex, Teams, Zoom
- Microsoft Office products
- Microsoft Intune
- Mobile Device Management
- 5 years of experience with any ticketing system
- Lockton uses Sys-Aid
- Remedy, Jira, ServiceNow are suitable alternatives
- 3-5 years of experience with deskside support
- Hardware setup, conference room set up, monitor/desk set up
- Previous Audio/Visual technician experience
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
