Director, Contract Management

Our client is seeking a Director of Contract Management to oversee and optimize the contracting process for key business partners, including those in Pharmaceuticals, Medical Products and Services, and Business Products and Services. This role requires a strategic leader with a deep understanding of regulatory compliance, contract negotiation, risk mitigation, and financial management to support the organization's long-term objectives.

Job Function

• Ensure contracts comply with HIPAA, Anti-Kickback Statute, and industry regulations, while identifying and mitigating legal, financial, and operational risks.
• Negotiate favorable terms, manage contract lifecycles, and collaborate with legal teams to ensure compliance and efficiency.
• Develop and execute long-term contracting strategies, optimize portfolios, and align contracts with business goals.
• Conduct cost-benefit analysis, budgeting, and forecasting to enhance contract performance and financial outcomes.
• Serve as the primary liaison for business partners, working closely with Sales, Finance, and Operations to ensure contract alignment.
• Streamline contract management workflows, leverage contracting software, and implement data-driven decision-making.
• Lead and mentor a team of Contract Managers, fostering development and driving operational efficiency.
  
  
  

Job Requirements

• BA/BS in degree; MBA a preferred.
• 8 years with experience in contract management, customer service, operations, or analytics in the healthcare or pharmaceutical industries.
• 5-7 years managerial experience
• Strong negotiation skills
• Strong contracting strategy and administration experience in the healthcare or pharmaceutical industries.
• Sound working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications and client-server-based applications and databases.
