Director Of Finance

Our client is looking to hire a Director of Finance to join their team. They are a highly flexible, Hybrid Financial Advising Firm! They offer clearing and custody access to multiple custodial platforms. They are built to leverage its open architecture and advanced technology in building successful practices. First three weeks will be fully onsite then can transition to hybrid.

Job Function

• This role is be responsible for performing or overseeing all tasks related to financial reporting (internal, external, and regulatory), cost accounting, financial analysis, employee payroll, human resources, advisor compensation, state/local tax filings and fees, cash management, and all FP&A functions such as planning, budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling.
  
  
  

Job Requirements

• 10 Years of Accounting & Finance experience
• At least 3 years in public accounting
• At least 2 years in the RIA/BrokerDealer industry
• At least 2 years of managerial experience
• At least 2 years of payroll and HR experience
• At least 2 years of FP&A experience
• Preparation of financial statements and presentation to senior management
• CPA License (active) or M.B.A. or Master’s Degree in Accounting
• Series 27 (FinOp) License (or ability to obtain in 90 days as condition of employment)
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially the advanced use of Excel (pivot tables, vlookups, sumifs, and other tools to help quickly analyze large sets of financial data)
• Proficient in QuickBooks and experience with other accounting software
