- Direct the medical care and treatment of patients and have primary medical responsibility in overseeing and supporting the care rendered by other members of the interdisciplinary care team
- 60-70% administrative (3 days per week) 30-40% clinical
- Monday to Friday 8-5pm schedule (40 Hour work week)
- Will be expected to oversee a minimum of 2 clinic sites both in Manhattan
- Collaborates with site NP community-based primary care providers on the shared population as well as social workers and dieticians
- Will have own patient panel as Primary Care Provider and participates in direct medical care in the Diagnostic and Treatment Center providing med management, patient assessments, and examinations
- Will be overseeing clinical staff (NPs and MAs) and participating in quality improvement for the organization
- Participates in developing preventive health screening, immunization programs, professional community outreach, quality assurance, etc.
- NY State license, DEA, CSR (active or applied preferred) but not required
- Graduate of an Accredited School of Medicine
- Residency in Internal Medicine, Family Practice, or Fellowship and/or experience in Geriatrics.
- Board Certification in Internal Medicine, Family Practice or Geriatrics
