Job Responsibilities:
As a general surgeon with WhiteCoat Locums, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in a variety of clinical settings. Your duties will include assessing patients, determining the need for surgery, coordinating surgery schedules, and performing general surgery procedures.
- Clinic Duties: Coordinate patient assessments and surgery schedules with the OR team.
- Procedures: Perform general surgery procedures, including but not limited to appendectomy, gallbladder surgery, and endoscopies.
- On-Call Duties: Provide 24-hour clinic and call shifts (minimum of 2 days per week).
Qualifications and Requirements:
Candidates must meet the following requirements to be considered for this opportunity:
- Board Certification/Eligibility in General Surgery.
- Pennsylvania State License (or willing to obtain).
- 1 year of experience preferred.
- Current certifications in ACLS, BLS, CPR, and PALS.
- DEA certification required.
