Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Application Analyst to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the implementation, maintenance, and optimization of business applications, ensuring their alignment with organizational needs. You will collaborate with various teams to analyze business requirements, troubleshoot application issues, and enhance the performance of our software systems.
Key Responsibilities
Application Support & Maintenance :
Provide first-line support for assigned applications, troubleshooting and resolving technical issues in a timely manner.
Perform routine maintenance, upgrades, and patches to ensure application stability and security.
Requirements Analysis :
Work closely with business stakeholders to gather and analyze application requirements.
Translate business needs into functional specifications and actionable solutions.
System Implementation & Configuration :
Oversee the implementation, testing, and configuration of new applications or features.
Ensure seamless integration with existing systems and infrastructure.
Performance Monitoring :
Monitor application performance and proactively identify potential issues.
Conduct performance tuning and optimization to enhance user experience.
Documentation & Training :
Maintain comprehensive documentation for applications, including user guides, technical manuals, and process flows.
Train end-users and internal teams on application functionalities and best practices.
Collaboration & Communication :
Act as a liaison between technical teams, vendors, and business users to ensure effective communication and project success.
Manage vendor relationships for third-party applications, including license renewals and support agreements.
Qualifications
Education :
Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Experience :
3 years of experience in application analysis, support, or a related role.
Hands-on experience with enterprise applications (e.g., ERP, CRM, HRIS).
Experience with SQL, scripting languages, or application development is a plus.
Skills & Competencies :
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Proficiency in diagnosing technical issues and implementing effective solutions.
Familiarity with system integration, APIs, and middleware tools.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with stakeholders at all levels.
Knowledge of ITIL framework or application lifecycle management is advantageous.
