Job Summary
We're seeking a Laborer to assist with both grounds maintenance and building custodial work at Jacksonville Veterans Cemetery. The ideal candidate will help maintain the cemeterys appearance by performing landscaping tasks and general cleaning duties.
Key Responsibilities
Perform grounds maintenance tasks, including pulling weeds, trimming, watering plants, mulching, planting, and spreading grass seed.
Conduct building maintenance work, such as power washing, staining, painting, window washing, and general custodial cleaning.
Operate and maintain landscaping and cleaning equipment safely and efficiently.
Assist with cleaning and maintaining cemetery facilities and equipment.
Follow all safety protocols and maintenance guidelines.
Complete additional duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications
Experience in groundskeeping, landscaping, or general labor is preferred but not required.
Ability to perform physical labor and work outdoors in various weather conditions.
Basic knowledge of painting, staining, and power washing is a plus.
Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
Commitment to maintaining a respectful and dignified environment.
