What are the responsibilities and job description for the Night Auditor position at WHITEFISH RIVER HOTEL LLC?
The Pine Lodge, located near downtown Whitefish is seeking a Night Auditor to work with our Front Desk Team.
PRINCIPLE RESPONSIBILITIES AND POSITION PURPOSE:
As a Night Auditor, you play a critical role in maintaining the hotel’s operations overnight, including serving as the primary point of contact for guests during your shift, and assisting with accounting tasks. Represents the hotel to all guests throughout the duration of the guest's stay. Ensures that all guestroom charges are posted nightly and ensures proper credit is established for each guest. Adheres to the same job description as the front desk associate with added job duties: Able to perform introductory accounting tasks. Determines a guest's reservation status and identifies how long the guest will stay. Helps guests complete registration cards and then assigns rooms accommodating special requests whenever possible. Places guest and room information in the appropriate front desk racks, and communicates this information to the appropriate hotel personnel.
Requirements:
- Proficiency in MS Office, Word, Outlook, Excel and PMS system knowledge preferred.
- Must be able to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends and holidays as necessary.
- Must be sales minded.
- Must be able to stay awake all night and be focuses on work procedures and inputting data.
