Position Title: Manager of Workplace Compliance and Regulatory Requirements
Position Summary
The Manager of Workplace Compliance and Regulatory Requirements is responsible for ensuring organizational compliance across human resources, contract management and workforce credentialing. This role is integral to maintaining regulatory adherence, mitigating compliance risks, and supporting operational integrity. The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker with expertise in multi-state compliance, workforce regulations, and credentialing processes for security personnel.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws, including wage and hour regulations, EEO, licensure, record keeping requirements
- Collaborate with HR leadership to update and develop policies to maintain relevance due to evolving state employment laws
- Conduct audits to ensure alignment with employment regulations and company policies.
- Ensure officers meet state-specific licensing and credentialing requirements.
- Work closely with HR to oversee certification renewals and new hire compliance.
- Utilize and maintain a centralized system for monitoring licenses and training certifications.
- Maintain compliance with regulations related to operating permits, contracts, and industry-specific licensing.
- Review and ensure contract compliance with federal, state, and client-specific regulations
- Develop processes for ongoing contract monitoring and reporting, this includes internal audits, reporting requirements, or client required reports.
- Collaborate with training department to develop training programs related to compliance and regulatory policies
Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration/Management or related
- 5 years of experience in compliance, HR regulatory oversight, contract management, or workforce licensing.
- Understanding of multi-state employment laws, security licensing requirements, and contract compliance.
- Ability to interpret and apply complex regulatory policies.
- Ability to travel.
- Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities for stakeholder collaboration.
