We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Construction Inspector to join our team and play a key role in our continued success.
Position Overview :
This is an exciting opportunity for a Construction Inspector with at least 5 years of field experience to contribute to the construction phase of various projects. The ideal candidate will conduct inspections and testing of foundation construction, earthwork, soil placement, compaction, concrete, reinforcing steel, and other construction materials and operations. You will work alongside project managers and subcontractors to ensure quality control and project success.
Location : Warren, NJ
Key Responsibilities :
- Field Testing & Inspections : Perform field testing and inspections on construction materials, including soils, concrete, and steel, to ensure compliance with project specifications and safety standards.
- Communication & Collaboration : Work closely with project managers and subcontractors to report inspection findings and provide feedback on materials, techniques, and compliance with engineering standards.
- Sample Transportation & Lab Analysis : Safely transport samples for laboratory analysis, ensuring that proper documentation and chain of custody are maintained.
- Report Preparation : Prepare accurate field data, test results, and technical reports for submission to clients, regulatory agencies, and internal teams.
- Site Inspections : Travel to various construction sites to conduct inspections and provide on-site support, ensuring all materials and construction activities comply with the required standards and specifications.
