Operations:
Gain an understanding of pipeline operations in the midstream sector.
Tasks:
- Orientation and Training:
- Introduction to midstream operations and commercial activities.
- Training on transportation contract creation and review processes.
- Familiarization with pipeline scheduling and coordination on customer activities.
- Opportunity to visit field and control room resources.
- Contract Creation and Review:
- Work closely with the Operations team to address daily commercial activity.
- Participate in the commercial review process.
- Comprehend key contractual terms and conditions.
- Business System Familiarization:
- Gain familiarity with the pipeline application and other relevant IT systems.
- Enter contract data accurately into the pipeline application.
- Verify data integrity and troubleshoot any discrepancies.
Information Technology (IT):
Acquire IT skills specific to the midstream oil and gas industry. Understand the technology used in pipeline applications and data management.
Tasks:
- Data Management:
- Work on configuring data within the pipeline application which drives reports.
- Understand data management best practices and compliance requirements.
- Reporting Functions:
- Participate in the development and support of custom reporting functions.
- Learn to extract and analyze data to generate meaningful reports.
- Contribute to the improvement of reporting processes.
