Servicing hundreds of clients from Madison to Milwaukee, Summerset Marine provides the highest level of expertise to design, install, and support any pier and boat lift system, always on call for any service needs.

About the role

  • Seeking a Marine Construction Laborer to join our team. This role involves installing, removing, and maintaining piers, boat lifts, and accessories using hand tools and machinery. You"ll support the construction, maintenance, and repair of marine structures in various weather conditions.

What you"ll do

  • Assist in constructing, maintaining, and dismantling docks and piers.
  • Load, unload, and distribute building materials and equipment.
  • Operate hand and power tools; maintain tools properly.
  • Follow safety procedures, including using personal flotation devices.
  • Clean sites and remove debris from barges and waterways.
  • Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

    • Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Previous marine or construction experience is advantageous.
  • Ability to swim; comfortable working on or near water.
  • Familiarity with hand tools, basic carpentry, and machinery.
  • Physical Efforts : Moderate to heavy lifting and physical labor, ability to work in various positions and environments.
