JOB DESCRIPTION :
This role supports our corporate culture through content curation for Whiting-Turner’s internal communications (online publications, video channels, email bulletins and more) and our external communications through the Whiting-Turner website.his role supports our corporate culture through content creation for Whiting-Turner’s intranet, online publications, video channels, email bulletins and more.
The communications intern is responsible for supporting our corporate culture through collecting information and working with others to craft content for Whiting-Turner’s internal and external websites. This includes collaborating with different support groups, operating groups and leadership to conduct research. Please note : The communications internship will not include any type of social media posts.
Responsibilities :
- Develop compelling article content in web-based platforms (SharePoint and / or WordPress) to enhance audience engagement for our internal and external websites.
- Edit existing content to ensure quality, accuracy and readability.
- Provide graphic and web design support to communications efforts.
- Conduct research to identify and develop potential content (project highlights, employee spotlights, company history, etc.) for internal and external audiences.
- Review and interpret site analytics to help make strategic decisions.
