Customer Project Manager

Position Overview: 

Whitley Manufacturing, a leading modular building manufacturing company, is seeking a skilled Estimator and Project Manager to join our team. This dual role will play a pivotal part in our commercial construction projects, responsible for accurately assessing project costs, managing budgets, timelines, and overseeing project execution. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in estimating for commercial construction projects and experience in project management across a wide range of budgets. 

Key Responsibilities: 

Estimate Preparation: Develop comprehensive and accurate estimates for commercial construction projects, including modular buildings, utilizing historical data, blueprints, specifications, and other relevant documents. 

Cost Analysis: Analyze project requirements, materials, labor costs, and other factors to determine project budgets and ensure competitiveness in the market. 

Bid Management: Prepare and submit bids, proposals, and tenders in a timely manner, ensuring compliance with client requirements and project specifications. 

Project Coordination: Act as the primary point of contact for project management, collaborating with project teams, architects, engineers, and subcontractors to ensure seamless project execution. 

Budget Management: Develop and monitor project budgets throughout the construction phase, tracking expenses, and identifying variances for timely corrective actions. 

Schedule Management: Create project schedules, allocate resources effectively, and monitor progress to ensure timely completion within budget constraints. 

Risk Assessment: Evaluate project risks and uncertainties, providing recommendations to mitigate potential impacts on cost, schedule, and quality. 

Client Relations: Establish and maintain positive relationships with clients, addressing inquiries, providing clarification on estimates, and ensuring client satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle. 

Qualifications: 

·        5 years of experience in estimating commercial construction projects (preferred). 

·        Proficiency in construction estimating software (e.g., Procore, Bluebeam, etc.) and MS Office Suite. 

·        Strong understanding of construction techniques, materials, and processes. 

·        Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy. 

·        Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate across multidisciplinary teams. 

·        Proven track record of successfully managing projects ranging from $500k to $30 million. 

·        Knowledge of relevant building codes, regulations, and industry standards.
