Duties

• Fabricate metal components using various methods including cutting, bending, and welding.
• Assemble metal parts and structures according to specifications.
• Utilize tools such as calipers and other measuring devices to ensure precision in fabrication.
• Interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to execute projects accurately.
• Adhere to industry codes and standards for safety and quality during all fabrication processes.
• Conduct quality inspections of finished products to ensure they meet required specifications.
• Collaborate with team members to optimize production processes and improve efficiency.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment while following safety regulations.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in metal fabrication.
• Proficiency in welding techniques including Stick and Mig welding; additional welding certifications are a plus.
• Familiarity with machining processes is desirable.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
• Knowledge of industry codes and standards related to metal fabrication.
• Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality work.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot fabrication issues effectively.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Up to $19.00 per hour
