Our Ideal Candidate Has:
- Currently working towards a Human Resources Management or Business degree.
- Experience with Microsoft Office Suite
- A strong work ethic, strong time management skills and the ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment; responsible and self-motivated
- Some experience in an office environment preferred.
- Solid organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills, both oral and written.
As a People Intern, You Will:
- Assist with screening resumes and job applications.
- Coordinate and schedule interviews between candidates and hiring managers.
- Assist with preparation for New Hire Orientation by coordinating with office managers, service line training contacts, and the People team.
- Prepare and processing onboarding paperwork for all new hires.
- Partner with People & Campus Recruiting teams for upcoming intern onboarding classes.
- Assist with compliance by performing HR audits on I-9s, employment agreements, and personnel files.
- Assist with benefits administration related tasks such as processing COBRA notifications, updating HRIS system with new plan documents, and FMLA processes.
- Coordinate and organize tasks associated with annual talent review.
- Assist with brainstorming, researching, and implementing HR project initiatives.
- Assist with developing content for monthly People Newsletters.
- Assist with gathering data and content to create PowerPoint presentations for training purposes or to present to key stakeholders.
- Other projects as assigned within the different services of the People Team.
